My sea was a salt water pond located in Central Asia between aqtobe and qyzylorda in the North and Karakalpakstan in the southern part. In 1960, I had approximately 68,000 km2.Greater than Switzerland the I came to have the fourth largest portion of water in the world. Currently I have 10% of my total capacity. Fishing was halted due to existing high salinity in the water that causes the evaporation and disappearance of the sea. This happened due to the ex-govern of the Soviet Union which diverted the course of the two rivers that supplied my with this as many species of fish died and some fishermen had to leave their villages and find new opurtunities I still believe that I will not disappear because the rain and some species of fish have come back. Today I come visit can still find some boats in the sand where it was formerly.
